So, a while back,my DH was cleaning out her fabric stash and told me I could have her scraps. Well, let me tell you, her idea of scraps is my idea of yardage. lol. so, anyway, in the boxes I found these wonderful, colorful assembled squares. (I called and told her that she had a quilt that was not assembled) She informed me itwasn't worth finishing. So, I put them together, sandwiched them and will FMQ them for the Shriners tomorrow. Wanna see? Here it is.colorfulscraps.jpg

Ah, how nice of you to say, I sent the picture to DH and told her I made it from scrap bag and here is her response. "Oh that is what I pictured, bright and happy" thank mom. Re: My new scrap bag quilt
Yep, I sent her the picture and she loves it. Today, she indicated that it was one of those sew it up and then chop up the blocks and she got all the blocks turned the wrong way and there was no way she was ripping it out. She's a perfectionist, so if it isn't the pattern the way the pattern says its suppose to be, she's done with it. Same with her cooking...it might be edible but if it isn't perfect out it goes.Originally posted by jjkaiser View PostI can't believe she didn't want this. Wait till she sees it all done! Great job and really pretty colors.success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiam
