    Tossed Salad Placemats

I haven't posted much because I am making Christmas gifts. Someone donated this tossed salad fabric to me but there wasn't enough to do 4 placemats (only two). So I made the rectangles and then cut them on a 45 degree angle. The coordinating fabric was also given to me and there was plenty of that. I quilted using a brown thread to offset the brightness of the coordinating fabric and then purchased some mottled brown for the binding. Check these out - they are so stinkin' cute.

P.S. The other two are being finished right now.

Those are adorable! The simple quilting really lets the fabric shine and it looks great!

Those are cute and cheerful! I love how you quilted them too. How very creative (naturally for a quilter ) to divide the fabric up the way you did.
