    scrappy

I can't stand to throw away fabric. I take my scraps and make 5 inch squares and the rare 10 inch. What is left over I just throw in a basket. The basket was flowing over. I made my first scrappy quilt using Jenny's tutorial and the MSQ 10 inch paper. Not a pretty quilt in my eyes but it sure was fun to make. I got it all bound and washed and thought well I will just keep this one for me, no one is going to want it.

My 9 year old grand daughter was here today and said OHHH grandmommy can I pleasssssssssse have that quilt. I said Kaylee, you don't want this one let me make you another . She said plesassssse I want it . It looks like a rainbow. I would have never dreamed of all the quilts I have made she would want this one. So I guess it founds its home.

                        Re: scrappy

It is a great looking quilt. If the scraps are from quilts that you have already made, it would bring a joy to remember the quilts that you made every time you look at the quilt.

Boxes of rainbows. All it needs is a unicorn or 3. I can see why a little girl would love it.
