And maybe using red thread? If you dare taking the chance of it turning all your white blocks pink that is. Anyways that would look really cool with red thread.

Red thread was my first thought, but this quilt is custom made for a customer and she says she's crazy for white and want is white. White back, and only white with the one print. I wanted to mix up the ladybugs with a red and white pinstripe but she insisted...just white. So white it will be. And, I must say, my mistakes won't show up so much with white on white.

I think your customer will be thrilled. I actually love her idea of plain white for the background, the simplicity of the colors is relaxing and and sweet, and will fit in most any decor.

Flowers would look terrific....I love the ladybugs...very cute. I like the idea of so much white.
