Gave the quilt to Roger's wife yesterday at our "girls monthly slumber party". I don't know if he will get it because she fell in love with how soft the minky is.

Those aren't mistakes! The blocks wanted to be where they are. Love the baseball theme.

I have two of the same vertically in the Diamond Dash I have ready to quilt now. There is sashing between them, but I kicked myself several times anyway.

When I make a mistake and someone finds it, I just say, "I put it there for you to find! Congratulations!" lol

This is a great quilt! Don't tell the recipient about the brownies; I'm betting he will only see the love you put into it; not the mistakes.

It's the thoughts and love that went into the making of the quilt for your friend that counts not the mischief of the brownies. Bet he loves it!

Your 'mistakes' are well hidden, I can't see them. I have also been told that there should be a 'mistake' in a quilt anyway.

I haven't had a brownie since I was 21. Hope your friend gets well soon.

be nice to your house brownies or else.....

My friend Yvonne and I made this quilt today for a friend who was just diagnosed with leukemia. He loves baseball. It is 54 x 80. It is Yvonne's 3 quilt project. And yes, we saw the two mistakes. When we had it all laid out on the floor they weren't there but as we sewed the rows together the brownies played tricks on us. I guess I better set some milk out for them tonight.
