    Goodnight Irene top finally done

Too big for a crib and too little for a twin. 66x 47". Have to decide who I am giving it to so I know what I'm using as a backing. Boy am I tired of this quilt right now. Hopefully by the time I decide who to give it to I will like it again. The inner border is red. goodbye irene quilt.jpg

I think it's nice. I like how the black background makes it pop. I think I need to try a black background soon, step out of my comfort zone.

I love the black x's. I made that pattern with white and I like it but I love yours. May I suggest that you could put a 5" border on the two short sides and come up with a really nice size for a cuddle quilt. Right now it would make a great lap quilt or wheelchair quilt.

It's lovely. I have my blocks all done up for mine, but just have to sew them together. I like that you chose something other than white for the background. I used charcoal grey and BasicGrey's Fresh Cut.

That's very pretty. I need to make a few throw sized quilts.

I would love the greys. They soothe me. Are you going to add a hint of cranberry or something in for a tickle of color?
