    Flying Geese Diamond donation scrappy

I love scrappy because like so many quilter I just can not throw away anything over 3 x 3 inches. After a while it catches up to me so I made a promise not to buy more until I used up some of the scraps. Well you know promises are meant to be broken in quilting. Anyway this one the only thing I put into it was the border. The rest came out of my scraps and even the back was done with scraps of backing. This is a quilt as you go but it would look better if I could hand sew the back. A broken finger kind of squashes that idea. Don't look for rhyme or reason or even separating colors just let the geese fly where they do.

    Hope you like it.

I love scrappy quilts also. I like both sides of your quilt. I hope your finger heals quickly.

It probably would have if I had realized it was broken but it has been several years of just healing the wrong way. I can sew but it is very sore by the time I get done. Thank you.

Pretty quilt, and you have created a new quilting slogan: "Let the geese fly where they may!"
