    Simon Says Skittles

This is the Simon Says pattern by Quilt Addicts (of New Zealand). I used the colors in a bag of skittles as inspiration in picking my colors. It was a great way to use up the left over scraps from my Postcard From Sweden/Rainbow HST triangle quilt. My favorite part was there were no points and no seams to match. Fun, fun fun.

You are so funny. If you have a paypal account you can buy the pattern directly from the designer for just over $4. The price shown on the website is $5 austrailian dollars. I ordered the queen size so I filled in the box to say Simon Says 83 square and the pdf file was in my email box in just a few hours.

Here is my best tip for making this strip pieced quilt. Make your strip sets in sets of three instead of sets of four. Slice the strip sets up with your stripology ruler or shape cut. Then add the fourth piece. You will get so much variety this way people won't even notice it was strip pieced.
