King-size minky

I finished my king-size minky for DD's Christmas. It is the biggest one I have done yet. She loves animals of all kinds, but especially large cats. When I saw these Cuddle Prints, I knew it was meant for her. I hope she loves it as much as I do. Thanks for looking.

I can't see in the pic, but is this sewn like a rag quilt?

I also have a granddaughter that would love it ! Is it a rag quilt and is it 2 layers of Minky? So if she don't like it or Becky decides she doesn't want it , I want to be next in line!!

Thanks, yes it is sewn like a rag quilt. I have just now thrown it in the washer to fray it up a bit. The back is a Jaguar print. Two layers of Minky in GA would be suicidal! At my age, I'm not sure I could do one layer.

Cindy, this is gorgeous. I have not tried working with Minky yet, but I know my daughter would just love it. And the animal prints are awesome.

Great looking quilt! My son's favorite quilt is his minky quilt which sadly he has really outgrown and I need to make him a new one. I did do a double sided minky as a baby quilt which turned out really cool - brown and lime green.

I do love minky for baby quilts. I have some pastels around here - just not enough yet for a quilt. Hoping some more show up as DDs.
