    Scrap Happy Stars

This is my first attempt at a scrappy quilt as well rows set on the diagonal. I truly enjoyed working on this quilt. Many lessons were learned that I will carry onto my next project. (Finished not perfection ) The pattern is Cathedral Stars. I altered the pattern a bit by having the diagonal rows set with star block cut as triangles instead of a solid color.

What a great quilt you made! The green really sets off all the other colors

Wow! That's a great way to use up scraps in a controlled manner. Love it.

Lovin' all those brights and what an interesting design. Looks complicated. I'm sure that puts a smile on the faces of anyone walking into that bedroom.

Thank you but it is really only two blocks with 4-patches, hst and tri/rec blocks.

I am always impressed with your quilts, much less "first attempts". Dang good I say!

Even if it is only two blocks it is difficult at first glance to pick out the individual blocks. I think that always makes a quilt more intriguing.
