    Moonbeam back from the quilter

I love this quilt and so does my hubby. So much in fact that he is did not want me to gift it to the person I made it for. I told him it would not fit our bed. So I promised to make something similar in a king but with red instead of the blue being dominant. Put the fabric together that I would need and it would be a hefty $500.00 for material only. So the plan is to collect the fabrics I want when they go on sale. I must be lucky because this morning I found the black on sale for $4.96 a yard. That was half the price else where. I needed 10 yards so a substantial savings. I am putting a number on each piece so I know where I want it in the quilt and adding some new blocks. But enough about that. My girlfriend did a great job on the quilting for me. Here are some photos.

Thanks for the assist. 5 more yards out of the way. I spent the morning looking for additional stars and I am going to change the interlocking block to try to make it more my own design.

I have to give Ginny Beyer credit for the color choice and the design. She is amazing but I bought it as a kit. But I will take credit for actually getting the blocks done. Thanks everyone.
