    Jekyll and Hyde

This quilt can't decide who it is--calm, sedate Dr. Jekyll (churn dash blocks) or wild, crazy Mr. Hyde (string blocks). Quilting it was also a Jekyll and Hyde experience--smooth, problem-free quilting, until I would run into a fabric that shredded my thread! As befits the name, I'm of two minds about it--I can't decide if I like it or not!

Sounds like you picked an appropriate name. I like it, the name and the quilt.

What size are your finished blocks? I saved your picture. Might have to make one myself!

Not sure if I'll keep or gift it. Blocks are 12" finished in the quilt.

          Thanks.

I like the lines in the blocks. It makes these two very different blocks go together. Cool quilt!
