Hi all from over the pond.

Nearly completed just got to finish binding at top .i ran out of material.very pleased with this material as you cannot get "American" design prints here in Britain . I had to send to MSQ for it, even with postage it is much cheaper than material her in Britain about 50% cheaper.i found design on jenny's tutorials just love it

What a pretty quilt! I love the pattern with these colors - they just go so well together.

How lovely. The blue and white pinwheels are so refreshing against the patriotic prints.

I bought the same fabric for the same pattern! Have not gotten to it yet. Any advice/tips for making this quilt?

Hi very easy to do but suggest you cut an extra strip for the blue binding as mine was a wee bit short .mind you my quilt ended up a bit bigger than stated on pattern. And i did a continuous binding with miterd corners, enjoy it is really very easy to do. Nornie

Welcome, from Ohio! Your quilt is wonderful! Do you order most if your fabrics from M*? I didn't realize the savings were so much.

Hi yes material over here is quite expensive average is £13 a mtr i think the exchange rate is £1.43 -$1 about that you would have to check as our pound dipped a bit after Brexit. But recovered slightly. I buy mostly from Britain but i wanted this range and it is unavailable here . I just love American stuff eversince i first started to write to my friend in Colo. Back in 1960 when we were both 15 years and still are very close in fact she is my "sister" in spirit.
