    Ombre/Gradient Bargello

This is a bargello cheat idea. I had rainbow ombre fabric and just cut it into strips and stair stepped the strips into a bargello. Very fast quilt top. Then I proceeded to make a grid with the walking foot. The baby I am giving this too will not care, but I am hoping the parents like it. Great/easy use of yardage with gradient fabric.

It turned out great! Love the radio/boom box backing - brings back memories of high school days laying in the sun. Perfect choice for the quilt.

No pattern I just winged it! All I did was cut random sizes of strips and if I wanted the hill to move faster I used the narrower strips. At the peak, I used a wider strip.
