For my new Granddaughter - pic heavy

Okay, clearly I've taken the free-motion learning curve a bit too fast, because I fell off several times on this. But she's a baby, so she won't know the difference. Also, her mama (my daughter-in-love) will be happy because she's not a hand-crafter, but loves things that are made by others. Anyhoo, I used a panel plus some yardage I bought from a former quilter-turned-scrapbooker and some seersucker that was on sale at JoAnn's.

Note: photos were taken this morning before I had clipped the loose threads, so I could get daylight. Got it all finished this evening and will give it to Little Miss tomorrow at church.

Don't worry; I took the needle out before giving it to her!

Got a lot more to learn, but sure did have fun with my free-motion foot!

Very pretty quilt. The quilting looks great, nothing to worry about. Mom and baby will love it.
