    Uglyquilt is finished

Remember when I told you all that I had agreed to finish an old quilt for a guy because I needed the money? Well, I goterdone. I used C's as my FMQ design and it went pretty fast. I'm glad I pointed out to the customer that it wasn't square and the only way it would get square was to take it apart. He didn't want to do that. Said it would mess with the integrity of the quilt. This quilt was a blocks of 9 that was done all by hand probably in the 60's and then in the 90's someone decided to finish it. They used blocks of assorted sizes and not square to put the blocks of 9's together. So...see for yourself. Its finished and we'll see if he pays me the $200. I furnished the batting, backing and binding.UglyquiltforBruce.jpgquiltingCsback.jpg

He should be very happy! You kept the integrity of the quilt and finished what he couldn't.I wonder what relative or friend made this originally? It sounds like it is important to him.
