Each month our quilt Guild gives out a new pattern and we complete one block and bring it back the next month we put these together and give them away as Charity quilts. Couple of months ago we did the Oh Susannah block and ask that it be done with navy and aqua. This is the quilt and I love it. But after watching Jenny's video this morning on the same block, I love how she put the sashing and cornerstones. I think this is an awesome block.

Isn't it amazing how something so seemingly small - like the addition of sashing and cornerstones - can make such a huge difference in the overall look of a quilt? That's one of the things I love about this art form - no two are ever really the same, are they? Love both of these, although I agree with Monique about the other one being awfully dark.

I like yours. I wasn't so thrilled with the one Jenny did perhaps because it was so dark. After her tutorial, maybe we will be seeing some pics of different colorways.
