    Kitchen set for a bride

My nephew and his finacee have picked Fiesta Ware for their dishes - all different colors. So I made these for her shower this weekend:

I was especially happy with the potholder - first try using my free-motion foot! Not the best, but no puckers and no eyelashes on the back, so I'm pretty happy:

    Thanks for looking!

Beautiful! And quite an inspiration for me. Some of my pot holders got ruined recently, and I've thought of using their "innards" for home-made replacements. I love what you've done, and can now see a way forward. Thank you for posting this!
Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?

Toni, they are so easy! Just layer rectangles or squares (about 8 inches): the waffle-weave towel, a layer of regular (thin) batting, a layer of Insul-Brite, and the focus fabric. Quilt as desired; then add your binding. I put a ribbon hanger in the binding. Have fun, and don't forget to post pics!
