Finished Quilt Top with an Oops!

My dear cousin got married last month and I put together this quilt to give as a gift.
I included a couple of photos from their wedding and engagement.
These are 25" blocks ... that's the largest HST that I've ever made!
I checked, re-checked and re-re-checked this thing before finally adding the borders and taking it outside for a picture.

    LOL!!!

THAT's when I saw the oops! LOL!

But, you know what? My Amish neighbors tell me all the time that you cannot make a "perfect" quilt ... only God can do perfection! So, I'm leaving the flaw cuz I'm not God! LOL!!!!

I'm waiting for the backing fabric to arrive then I'll FMQ this thing on my awesome Brother Laura Ashley sewing machine!

For the life of me, I see no "oops" in this quilt. What am I missing?

I understand that completely and often wonder why when you think you have searched out every nook and cranny for an oops, they always pop out at you in a photo! I am sure if you don't point it out, it won't even be noticed. Lovely gift!

Upper right corner of the shoo-fly block! Oops! LOL

I think this is the first oops in a quilt that I can actually laugh at and not scream and pull my hair out. :-)

Didn't see it until you pointed that direction. It's beautiful.

It's beautiful and I seriously doubt they would notice any "errors" unless you point it out and I don't think they would care if you did. Great job. I want to see it again when quilted!!!

So, you made a design change? It took me awhile to find the "oops". And if you don't point it out, I doubt anyone will notice it. It is a very lovely quilt, and I am sure it will be cherished.

It also took me a while to find it. At a quick glance, no one will notice. Aren't all quilts supposed to have an oops somewhere?! It keeps us humble. It's interesting how it shows up in a pic. I made the Herringbone pattern last year. I didn't see the oops until I took a pic. Fortunately, I was able to loosen the sides of that block & reorient to the correct direction.

Man, even when you pointed it out, I couldn't find it and then when I did, I thought, is that really an oops?

First of all it's beautiful! I don't think I would have found it without you pointing it out.

Yes, Sylvia, ... "design change" yes, that's what it is!

I'm just surprised that with my being so careful during the piecing and with all of my "quality checks" that I didn't notice it.

I'm even inclined to believe that little gnomes got into my sewing room at night and rearranged that block.
