What a nice idea. It is also something they can use later, plus it shows off the gift without everyone putting their fingers all over it. Bravo.

That is so special, plus others can see the beautiful quilt even though it isn't unwrapped!

Lovely presentation! I may have to steal that idea for later this summer.

Thanks so much for sharing this lovely idea for presenting a gift quilt. I hope you know that imitation is the sincerest form of compliment and that I think I'm not the only one who might appropriate this idea!

Congratulations, Blessings for the newlyweds. Your presentation was wonderful. I LOVE baskets, and try to use them as often as I can as the vessel for the gift. You can always use them and they are an environmentally friendly gift "wrap". Good choice.

I love it! I'm making a quilt for each of my grandkids and putting them in a matching basketwoven fabric basket that matches and gifting them for Christmas. Then they can use the basket for in their room for magazines, storage, ect.

What a very pretty way to give a quilt. Yes this is certainly nicer than a box.

Very clever way to gift a quilt, the packaging is something the recipients can use somewhere in their home. Much better idea that the plastic shopping bags from Joann's that I have been using to gift larger quilts.

Awesome idea ! When I give a gift to a baby shower or a bridal shower, I normally always wrap the gift in Receiving Blankets ( baby shower ) or a table cloth /towels etc. I have in the past put the gift in a basket I have made as well....I rarely buy wrapping paper.....actually I make most of my own wrapping paper ( out of butcher block paper ) using stamps & ink sometimes ( for smaller gifts.
