    My dissapearing hourglass

I started a top with dissapearing hourglass blocks. There is coming another row to it. But now I don`t know about the borders. What would you do? First a small light grey, and a blue second border? Or brown-red? Or no grey border?

I think the picture is not clear, but the white is actually light grey. And a grey border could work. Thanks!

Your quilt is beautiful thus far. Do you have to use boarders? Can you just bind it? I just love these when theres no boarder to take away from the pretty design.

Pretty! I would bind it in the dark reddish color without sashing. Or a grey sashing with the red. Not a very good answer. lol

I think a narrow gray and a wider blue would frame it beautifully.

Thanks for looking at it with me! I'm still thinking about colors, but it will have a small light grey border first, and then I guess I have an "audition".... blue... or grey..... first put it together.
When it is ready I will show. Thanks again!

Wonderful color combo. I would just bind it in a red...maybe a darker red fabric.

I like this a lot! I'm a border gal, so I love the idea of a gray stop border then something brighter to finish it off. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will be great!

The pic is somewhat dark, so it's hard to tell what the background fabric of your blocks is. Gray or white? Whatever that color is, use it for the first border. If you think it needs more borders, then lay out the possibilities & go from there. Use one of the darker colors from the quilt fabrics for your binding.
