    Thanks Lorie,

That was an interesting post. I've been lucky that mine have all worked out, just from watching Jenny's tutorial. I think I'll bookmark it in case I ever have problems.

great idea! I have used this technique on smallish quilts- pieced top, fleece/minky backing- but never thought of using just fleece.

Great idea! I have a stash of fleece I would love to work through and this would make fast work of that bin! I love this idea and will promptly steal it! Thanks! These will make great car blankets!

I'd like to do this to make a tablecloth. Has anyone tried that?

Edited to add: I was unclear! I don't mean I want to make a fleece tablecloth (how awful would that be!); I'm just wondering about making a large-size self-binding tablecloth of regular cotton.

Wow I have been making some tie quilts and thinking I would rather not doing any more cutting I think I will try this for the next one!
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

I haven't, but it should be a heck of a lot easier without all the bulk.

basting spray should help with the stretch in the fleece. kathy

What a great idea to make a big one. It's really nice. I haven't tried it yet but I might steal your idea
