    I beat my challenge

My biggest challenge is finishing stuff. At the time I see what the result of my quilt will be, I say: "that's awesomely gorgeous !!" and I start on something new. But that might sound familiar to you.

So I am proudly presenting: my *finished* paper pieced christmas quilt

Now I'm off to make a halloween quilt, maybe I'll get it finished. In time. For this year.

Very cute, Mari! I love house quilts. I just made a couple of potholders with paper-pieced houses. Fun to make. Where will you hang this at Christmas-time?

Whow! This is adorable! I haven't tried paper piecing yet...it will have to wait a bit longer till I get some more experience behind me. This is so nice and such a good job....

Marl, I absolutely love it! I like doing paper piecing, too - actually that's the only time my points come out like they should. Now I just have to come up with a fantastic design for the holidays - may have to copy yours! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all so much for your kind replies !
Rebeccas-sewing, I gave this wallhanging to my parents today. They spent a lot of time helping me in the past two months (my children and I moved to another house) and I thought it would be nice to give them my time too.
Sandy, feel free to use this pattern. Is it allowed for me to place it on the forum somewhere ? My mom gave this to me 9 years ago, I don't know where she got it from.

Yes, it feels awesome to finish something...and... I finished another one today
