    Paradise Island Batik

Hi. I have finished the top of a king-size quilt. The fabrics are all batiks, with a caribean flavour. I purchased 2 kits as the original was for a double bed. I will make a smaller lap quilt with remaining. I have called this Our Paradise Island Batik and we will use it in the summer. I love the colours and the pattern was easy to follow. This my eighth quilt since I have started quilting in April 2015. All others have been quilted by me, except for the other king size one that I made which I had professionally done. This quilt measures 95" x 105". Enjoy.

                            Hi Bev,
Thanks for your comment. I'm just learning about the various groups and chats, but I try to limit my computer time, so I can actually spent more time quilting. I will post activities.

Thanks. For the past 5 years a bus load of women from Orleans go shopping in NewHamshire and Maine. I was looking forward to this year's trip, but Unfortunately with the Canadian dollar down .30 cents on dollar, the trip has been cancelled. Next year, I will go with hubby. I can't stay away from Maine.
