    Chopped Block--Hawaiian style!

I thought I'd add a photo of the quilt I just completed because there don't seem to be a huge number of Chopped Block quilts posted on the forum.

I loved making this one. It is a super fun block to make, and as long as you pay attention to your seam allowances and measure carefully when you make your cuts, it goes together like a dream. The fabric in the blocks is from a jellyroll and a charm pack that I picked up during a family vacation on Maui. The borders are batiks from a LQS. Quilting was done by M*.

Gorgeous - love the colours you've used. I know that as Bento Box - probably has other names as well. Who cares when it looks as good as this one.

                    Wow this is really gorgeous!
But as someone has already said I know this block by Bento Box... can a block have more than one time? I'm curious!

sewUK and Juliet Taylor: Yes, this is also known as Bento Box, but Jenny D. called it Chopped Block on her tutorial. Either way, it's a fun block!

They did, and I'm hoping that they will still have them when we go back this fall. They cut layer cakes for the quilt kits they have, too, but don't seem to sell them separately, because I'd love to have some of those.
