    Baby Car Seat Quilt

Ok, I wont post every single thing I do but this is the first quilt that I have officially finished since I started quilting a month or so ago. I have fought with seams, fought with the quilting process, gave up on my new walking foot and went for the FMQ and this is the result. It has flaws but I am probably the only one that can see them. I have learned a lot doing this quilt so maybe I can leave a few hairs in place on the next one, which is laying over there ready to quilt!!!! Its reversible, not 2 different quilts.

    Happy Quilting all!!!

And why not????? We LOVE to see what everyone has done
This is beautiful! I absolutely adore the color placement in your squares. Pairing the large and small prints in the same colorway WORKS!!!

Your quilt is pretty, you did really well for your first. Make sure you post a picture of your next one.

Cute! I feel shy at posting what I make too sometimes, but I so enjoy seeing what other people did I post anyway. And if the forum helped -- like answered a question, for example -- I think it's nice to share the outcome. It's nice for me to feel that my answering a question helped somebody else make something! And we all get ideas from seeing other people's projects. So show as much as you want!

I think you should be proud of your first! You did a great job! Some quilters are afraid to tackle free motion. Show us what's next and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Your quilt turned out very nice! I like your idea for straps to tie onto the car seat!

Clarire, don't be afraid to post pics. I'm not shy and even post my mistakes in hope that I may help someone to avoid them!

Every quilt, however complicated or simple is a masterpiece that needs to be shared. I love the fabric in your car seat, too!!

That is an adorable quilt - and very well done for the first time! I am sorry you felt so frustrated, though.

I never heard of a carseat quilt but this is beautiful! How did you put the straps in and what do you do to make sure they won't fall out? This is a real pretty quilt.
