    Attic Window quilt

Here is an attic window quilt Wall hanging made as a birthday gift. I took a photograph I had of the War Eagle Mill in Rogers Arkansas. The original mill was built by ancestors. I purchased photo fabric and took it and the picture to a graphics store. They enlarged my picture then cut it into squares. I added the side and bottom fabrics to the picture and added window shashing to give it a three-d effect. It appears you are looking out a window to view the mill

That is beautiful. I have seen pictures of quilts done similarly but not with a specific personal picture as the background. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum.

Terrific! I particularly like the fact that you used a picture of something that had meaning to you.

                            Very pretty.

Do you have a particular pattern for your attic windows you can share? Are yours done with Y seams?
