I made this last fall and I don't think I have shown this to yall yet. I happened to remember to post it after we camped last week. My husband made a real nice lamp post out of PVC pipe that sits in a cast iron base(real heavy) I then mounted a solar lantern type light on top of it.It turned out real nice.I just ran out to the camper(no electricity) and took a picture.I couldn't get the whole stand in the pic but you get he idea. Enjoy.

Re: My camp flag
Really like the flag, we also camp quite a bit. We need something to let people know from time to time which campsite is ours. DH found a piece of firewood a few days ago that had been split just right for me to paint on. I plan on painting a winding road with bluebonnets (state flower) on either side and putting our name on it. He has an idea for hanging it from the 5th wheel.Mary

Re: My camp flag
That is cute Rhonda. I would be happy if I could get to a camp once a year. I'll even take a weekend.

Re: My camp flag
Rhonda, I love your flag. The applique is sharp with the blanket stitches. Do you live anywhere Paducah?? I've never heard of Benton. I had an aunt who taught math at Cumberland College and I've been to Paducah many times. There may be a trip there in the near future. DH and I need a quick getaway. thanks for sharing your flag....I think we all need one for our front porch...Barb
