    Tea Towel Aprons

Thanks to Jenny's great tuitorial I saw on You Tube., I have been making her tea towel aprons; putting them away to add to gifts. They are just so quick, fun & easy to make.
I thought I would share the 3 I have made so far.

I have wondered how good the fabric is on these tea towels? Can you tell me? I've wanted to order a few but have held back not knowing if the fabric is too light weight or not. I'd love to make one of these aprons, plus I like to applique onto tea towels.

          Re: Tea Towel Aprons

I've made several of these myself for gifts and am making more for Christmas. When you consider it only takes a half a yard per apron, it really is an economical gift.

I made one too and I love it. I read somewhere these do shrink (they are 100% cotton), so I washed some to see and yes they do, but still make a good sized apron.

Re the tea towel fabrics. i searched my local town here in Australia for the stiffess linen style fabric tea towels I could find. Hoping the fabric holds its body when washed.... Sharonaust

Love your aprons! The fabric matches are perfect and the stitching is such a nice addition! I have a couple of these towels from MSQC and they seem like nice quality. Most tea towels are cotton or linen.
Thanks for the inspiration to get mine out a make them into aprons!
