      Thanks everyone for your comments and to answer meemeecyn ...Yes its just 4........ 2.1/2 inches jelly roll strips sewn together and then l used the dresden ruler to cut out the blades and put them together the same way jenny does in her tutorial. jess ....jennys tutorial can be found here its really easy.

                  I finally made one too, I just finished the top, will post pics soon! It wasn't near as hard as I thought it would be...watching Jenny's tute helped alot!

                            Thankyou everyone for your comments...I sewed the last blade in so the actual plate is now completed a pic is below now of course I need to sew it down to the calico and put the centre on.

                              I love your Dresden Plate very much. it reminds me of a Dresden Plate from Kaye Wood I saw once. A bit like a kaleidoscope???? (Is that the correct word), but just lovely. nice way to use up scrap!!!
