    Jelly roll bear paw

This is a pattern I came up with to make a bear paw style quilt using a jelly roll. The "paws" are made from a Rural Jardin jelly roll by French General and the background is bella solid in stone.

You can see more pictures of it on flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/4696548...7626886621061/

and read more about how it came together here: http://northstarquilting.blogspot.co...rural%20jardin

It was really fun and I'm in the middle of quilting a second one I've made using a solid jelly roll and a patterned background. I'll let you see when I've finished!

This is a great quilt. I love the feminine prints in what is so often done in plaids, flannels, etc. The background fabric really sets things off. Great job....Barb

Thank you everyone. It's been difficult squeezing sewing in this year but I'm glad I managed to get a little bit done.
