    First (non ragdoll) quilt top

Now I just need to work up the nerve to lay out a sandwich and quilt this kitty =^.^=

Luckily, it's only toddler sized (somewhere between crib+lap).
I did manage to find the backing today:

I plan to bind it with the rest of the fat quarters that went into the rainbow trail and maybe some of the poptart crust...
Just so nervous about the next steps. They're so unlike any of the sewing I have done before.
Excited too. A lot of the nervous is excited. I hope it turns out ok. I need a bigger space to iron things...

Wow, I have never seen anything like this quilt. It is just perfect for a childs quilt, I am sure it will quickly become a favorite. Good job, cant wait to see it when its all done.

The tutorial/walkthrough I found HERE, I sqwunched all the "weeks" down into just sections and did it over the weekend.

Don't click on the "10 hr" version. It's quite literally just a loop of ^ for 10 hours. I mean, unless there's someone you need to drive a little bit whackadoodle.. Then by all means.

Thank you Meghan! (My sister is also a Meghan, though she didn't get an "h". Much to the bane of her elementary years.) =)

Thank you Bob, I will endeavor to do so. Luckily, since piecing it went together much faster than I'd thought it would I still have 2 weeks to get it finished. =^.^=
I will remind myself to breathe, and watch many many tutorials on the actual quilting part before I start.
