    Made by my DIL

I am so proud of my DIL. This is her 1st quilt and she made it for my son's birthday, that was today. It was a surprise gift. Which, was really hard because starting in Jan. she drove to my house twice a week (I live 30 mi. away) for 3 months. The last couple of weeks she came here every day. This was not a beginner pattern, but she did a great job! My grandson, shown it this pic, was also here throughout the process. (He is home schooled) He could have rightfully complained, but he didn't. Proud of him too. : )

Wow! Her first quilt is quite a success. Hopefully, she's got the quilt bug now. How nice you two got to spend so much quality time together.

          That's beautiful!

I'm wondering what the cat had to say about it.

She did great! Very pretty - and the cat put her seal of approval on it too.

The best gift ever! You would never guess it was her first quilt, she can be very proud! The only problem is how to top this gift next year? She might have to start sewing now, lol. It looks great.
