My daughter's birthday is this week, so we took her to lunch today, and I gave her her quilt. She loved it. She told me that even though the weather is warm once again, she is still curling up for naps with a quilt. I posted this as a WIP a while back and decided it was (a) too wide and (b) had a too-big glop of gold. So, I lopped off six (if I recall correctly) rows on the too-gold side, and I like it much, much better. This was made from yardage, not really a jelly roll. I have no idea how much fabric I used. I just kept cutting until I was happy with the pile of strips. Next time, I'll stop when I have around 1600-1700 inches of strips. That should make it about the right size. I'm attaching a photo of the WIP along with the finished project. Don't you agree that whacking the side off was a good move? Oops! I see now that I hung it upside down when I took the pic today.
