    Quilt for a good cause

image.jpgThis is me ( second on left) handing over a quilt I made in 2005 to the ambucopter team, to raise money for them. I did it after being involved in a road traffic accident and needing their services to be airlifted to hospital.
I have made several of these quilts over the years but they are all straight stitch quilted around the blocks, Been too scared to try free motion

Thank you every one. It wasn't an horrific crash but it our car was a write off.. A lorry can round a blind bend straddling our side of the road and we hit its back wheel. We just missed going underneath it. I only had whiplash, soft tissue damage to my chest and a broken collar bone but it caused me a lot of trauma.

Beautiful quilt for a great cause. So wonderful to see folks paying back and paying forward. Glad that you were ok, and well enough afterwards to quilt.
