    Just a beginner

I have just got into quilting, needless to say I am teaching myself. So here is the first but definitely not the last (I had a lot of fun).

          Re: Just a beginner

Once I started I thought maybe I should have gone with something a little easier, but what the heck. First of all there wasn't a pattern I came up with that myself, and then I spent a lot of time second guessing. So my newest project is the double slice layer cake that Jenny teaches ( http://youtu.be/jxC-0T5lXw4). It is really super easy, so now I know that there is stress free quilting!

Wow, Tammie! Love your Cat in the Hat quilt. I bet my grand-daughter would love me to make her one. She is really into watching the videos. You did an awesome job and can not believe it was your first try. Natural talent, for sure. It truly is a lot of fun.

Tammie, welcome to the forum. Isn't the Cat in the Hat fabric line great. So much fun to work with. I had to smile even when I was unsewing some of my blocks.
