    Use that background in another block and you will be fine! Looks great!

    Thanks everyone, but I realized the last block (#3) is slightly bigger than the first two. I used the new Janome. I guess I will have to trim it down a little when the blocks go together. I'm going to try to make a bigger 1/4" seam allowance on the next one.

    Hey, that looks great! I am currently working on a 2012 block of the month called Benjamin Franklin Mystery Quilt, by ErikHomemade.com Erik HOMEMADE Coffee Break eZine: Benjamin Franklin Mystery Quilt
    There are 20 blocks so far...Of which I have 2 made...

    This one seemed easier. Maybe I'm just getting more comfortable with it. LOL

    I don't like the background material as much on this block. It is considerably lighter, but hopefully in the overall scheme of the quilt it won't make a difference.
