For my two nieces' naps.
This is a D9P made with a Watercolor Garden charmpack. I had already sewn the top, border included, last year, but I didn't like the layout from Jenny's video (similar to the falling charms layout). So finally last month I ripped borders and blocks and completely rebuilt the top, then FMQed it (meanders). I had to ask for help on the forum as I didn't know how to bind it (run out of fabrics). A pieced binding strip was suggested: I combined the scraps from the two solid colored sashing fabrics and the floral backing. Binding is machine sewn on the front, and then hand sewn on the back. Measures 35" by 55"
The second one has a purple fabric printed with kittens as focus fabric, but I don't know the maker (might be Timeless Treasures?). It was a piece of yardage that came into my stack maybe 3 years ago. The pattern is inspired by Amy Smart's "square knots" quilt. I made 28 bloks and laid them 4 x 7, but then the shape of the quilt was too skinny, so I added borders on the long sides. Final size 40" by 56". Pieced backing.
