    My GIANT Tote Bag

I love quilt classes and retreats but hate lugging all my stuff around. I really wanted a large bag to carry things in but I could not find a pattern. So I made one up! I put in pockets to hold my cutting board, travel iron, rulers, rotary cutter and extension table with lots of room left over for sewing supplies and fabric. I know it's giant but it's just what I need. And as you can see, it is Mittens approved!

Golly! Either Mittens is very small, or that is one HUGE bag!

    I love it!

Good grief! You could pack half your house and a grandkid in that! Are you going to be able to lift it when it's full? Love the fabrics.

Love your pattern and fabric but if I filled that it would have to have wheels or my sons to carry it. Or is that a minature cat?

It is giant, I told you! It falls just below my knee and nothing I carry in it will be heavy. I did make sure I reinforced the handles. I've just always hated how unwieldy it is to carry the mat and the extension table. I think I've solved the problem.

the bag is beautiful. maybe you could look into one of those carts you use for heavy bags so you don't hurt yourself.
