Hi

I am just finished quilted the Best!

Talke about a workout! Hauling around this quilt in 6" harp space is Hard work!

At last it is done. Not my best work regarding fmq but I am happy with it.

I need to square it up and trim and bind but for now it will rest.

I am in piceing mode. So that is what I will do. Just got my Marti Michells book on perfect patchwork volume one so no more fmq for a while.

That's absolutely beautiful. I know it's easy to get tired of the big, complicated ones by the time they're done....but you'll be ready to go back to it soon. Can't wait to see the finished product!

I know what you mean by it being a beast. The one I'm working on now seems to have a mind of it's own. I try so hard to quilt a straight line and it takes a detour! And this is with using a walking foot! I'm so looking forward to taking it to a big front loading washer at the laundromat and seeing if it will shrink enough to hide all of the boo boo's!

It is a great feeling when you are on the homerun with a quilt.
Now all the hard work is done and the fun is left.

I will let the body rest for a while then I will finishe this one.
I am gonna keep this as mine quilt.

Now, there are two or thre more quilts that are waiting for their fmq. but they will have to wait a bit longer.

I want to sew some blocks.
