Your Mum will be so delighted that you made this for her, and she will take great delight in showing how clever her lovely daughter is to all her new friends.

This is my first real attempt at free motion machine quilting. It's not perfect but I'm real happy with how it turned out.

Oh, how lovely... fab quilting too!

Gorgeous and for a scrappy quilt, the colors blend so nicely. Very lovely! I love the FMQ, too. Excellent job! Your mom will love it....if not send it my way!!!

That quilt is just beautiful! I'm cutting up some different leftover fabrics for such a quilt and I hope mine will turn out as good as yours. I'm sure your mother adores it.

Thats really pretty and you did an awesome job on your quilting too! I tried to do some of those feathers and they sure don't look anything close like yours - I need lots more practice .

    Hugs,

I love it! I really like the scrappy quilts. I have a couple sitting waiting for me to work on. My fingers are itching and you made them itch more!

    Hi SummerK:
Thank you for your comments! I started out in the middle of the 16 patch with a flower and them moved on to stipple the remainder of the patchwork. The flowers might be hard to see in the photo.

Beverly, the background fabric is a pretty neutral Thimbleberries fabric.

The pattern came from a book called "Charmed, I'm Sure" by Lesley Chaisson. She calls the pattern Chocolate Dip.
