Thank you for your comments! I started out in the middle of the 16 patch with a flower and them moved on to stipple the remainder of the patchwork. The flowers might be hard to see in the photo.

Thats really pretty and you did an awesome job on your quilting too! I tried to do some of those feathers and they sure don't look anything close like yours - I need lots more practice .

I just finished this quilt yesterday. It's a gift for my elderly mother who just moved into a retirement community. I wanted to make her something homey to help her feel more comfortable in her new surroundings.
This is my first real attempt at free motion machine quilting. It's not perfect but I'm real happy with how it turned out.
