    Disappearing ink

Here's the JJR 2 finally finished. I made my first label (freezer paper and fabric) and it WAS so pretty, but most of the ink washed out. I went back to the video and discovered I forgot to set it with the iron. I will have to make another and sew over top this one I guess.

I still need work on the binding technic. The FMQ is from a Craftsy class (on sale) I took called dot to dot quilting. This was my first attempt.

Sorry about the label, but the quilt and the quilting are great!

Rhapsody of Blues sampler from Connecting threads. There were only 20 strips, and I ended up adding 8 more from my stash. By purchasing it, brought my total order up so that I didn't have to pay shipping.

Bummer about your label, but easy fixed as you say. The quilt though, is fabulous and I love the quilting pattern.

                  Beautiful!

Just carefully retrace your letters and heat set.

I like your quilt and the quilting. I would do as Vicki suggested and trace the letters and heat set.

Thank you ladies, I think I will try tracing and see how that comes out. If all else fails I will sew another label over top of this one.

Hey Vickie. I really like these fabrics. I have also enrolled in the dot to dot craftsy class, but haven't had a chance to actually watch it yet. You've done a great job on the quilting. Seems like the class was worthwhile doing, and you've learned some good stuff.

I tried making a label with that inkjet fabric for the printer. When I set it with the iron it got ink where it wasn't supposed to be. Any idea why that happened?

Honestly, I don't know. I haven't yet tried setting the ink with an iron yet. Maybe someone else on here will chime in.
