Two recent quilts I have made, I really think Layer Cakes are my favorite pre-cuts!

The blocks are done using Urban Oasis Layer Cake by Kitty Yoshida for Benartex, the border is Kona Solid in Steel (I believe) the binding is Kona Solid in Black and I used a small stipple to quilt all over and did a figure 8 sort of design in the border, this ended up being a nice lap/throw size.

The blocks are done using Glimma By Lotta Jansdotter For Windham Fabrics (love this line), the sashing is done using Kona Solid in Steel, and binding in the Hexagon print from the Chicken Wire Line from Moda, I did a larger stipple all over, this quilt ended up being just about twin sized! (My daughter loves to crawl all over my quilts if she catches me with them down)
Both designs were just inspired from online images and nothing but a cut here or there! Very simple and fun to make, and the fabric lines are so beautiful they were hard to part with at the end!!
