    Not a quilt, but I was on the news!

    Our local news interviewed me today about the memorial quilt we are creating for FF Scott Tanksley.

              That's a great thing your doing. I'm sure the family will be very happy.
              I know someone that was a military police in the Navy, I'll ask if he still has a patch.

                Great interview, Michelle. The family will be so touched by the quilts you are putting together.........a wonderful idea.

                          What a great story! That quilt will be so appreciated. God bless our firefighters for all they do! I'm grateful to an off duty firefighter in Oregon who stopped & rescued my bro-in-law from his burning pick-up last week. If not for him, my BIL would have died. He's now in the burn center in Portland recovering from his injuries. JCY

                            That little boy - holding his father's helmet...ugh. Just so freakin' sad. This is a really nice thing that you are doing. I don't know anyone there - but I pass by a big pretty firehouse on my way to work every morning. I think I will stop in and just see if they have a shirt or patch they could donate.
