    Love Shack, Bonnie and Me

I attended a workshop with Bonnie Hunter (Quiltville.com) last Thursday. We worked on making Bonnie's Love Shack wall hanging pattern using scraps. I finished the top yesterday...with 425 pieces of fabric in it. Whew!

Bonnie did a trunk show on Wednesday evening, showing several of her quilts and her still unfinished hexie project that she works on while traveling around the country and abroad teaching. It's gorgeous!

Thanks ladies! Yes, Jean, it was lots of fun to meet Bonnie. I live in a fairly rural area and never expected her to come so close to my home. I'd love to meet Jenny some day too... maybe she'll come closer to home too. A gal can always dream...

Oh, Myrna, when we saw you were attending this workshop we were all jealous. Now seeing your wall-hanging makes us more so. AND, a girl can dream - so stick a few pennies in the pig and plan a trip to Hamilton in October . . . mark the calendar and we'll pray the beans are harvested by then.
