    TA DA!!!

Finally.... Once I got past the initial joining of strips, and the first pass, things went fairly quickly.. For me... 'M a slow quilter! Only has one twist.... I was very careful... Even pinned some... I literally held my breath when I made that last cut on the fold... What a relief when a quilt too appeared!

I am planning on a brown binding. The fabric is B. Brackman's Collections for a Cause.. Warm.

Now I'm ready to do another one... Is it the right size? About 55x 56 -59, I think... I has to use my 6X12, to get an approximate measurement.... I don't think I will birder this one... I like the borderless look a lot.

I agree... I think the JR's look best without the border.. IMHO... great job!

It looks great! I've been a bit slow to try this out as I can see myself wrapped up in 1600 inches of fabric all twisted and turned. OR, I'd trip in a loop and break my ankle! Really love the colors in this one and I see that you're not going to add those "birders." LOL, I'm glad I don't have an iPhone.

It looks great. I love how you put the black in between each strip.

Awesome, Sandy! Love the colors! I imagine it is closer to 62-64" long. You have 32 rows and each row should be 2" wide, give or take a bit here or there for veering off course a stitch or two!

Thanks, everyone... I appreciate your kind comments...

The other top? It is now in four pieces, and will make nice Project Linus or NICCU quilts.

Here 's a couple close ups of some of the fabrics... I love CW fabrics....

That is nice, glad it went so well for you, I too am a slow sewer, unlike a few of my friends that are speed demons. They may produce more quilts quickly but to me that only means I have to shell out more $$ quicker.

I really like this, Sandy. I like the dark squares really well and I think that size is very usable. I, too, like the borderless look - it's a refreshing change. Great Job!
