      Annika, you do such great work. I am always amazed at how quickly you manage to get things done, also.
      Well done, I love them both. Be sure to post pics of the second one when quilted, too.

          I sure do like this quilt, Annika! I don't FMQ yet so I'm no help in that department. I actually did FMQ for the first time on my cat's quilt but it's certainly nothing to brag about. I had a terrible time keeping the foot pedal steady so the stitches would come out evenly. I imagine that's one of the hardest parts of learning the process. I think the only way I'd be able to master that technique would be to purchase a sit-down long-arm with stitch regulator and I just can't justify spending the money. I obviously need to practice but I hate spending time doing that when I would much rather be working on construction of a quilt.

            I really really like it. So much that I am seriously thinking of trying to do one myself.....LOL

            I like the way you mixed it up and I do agree with you on the corner switch out.

              Beautiful. I am sure the yellow blocks are brighter in real. They look subdued in the quilt.
