    hi on this gray wednesday

steph 1 copie.jpgsteph 2 copie.jpgFinished an inherited UFO. Was a good hand training as I sewed it by hand! Could also use some leftover fabrics. And off I go to the therapist.

Well that is something you have in common with my bit of Australia today, it was grey and damp.

You must be feeling very satisfied with getting that finished, it's very cute and I like the design. I was sitting here imagining various colour combinations for it...No! must finish already started quilts...lol. Oh well I've saved the idea into my bucket list, one day maybe.

That is a really cool quilt! I don't know why but all of a sudden in my head I was hearing "American in Paris" by Gershwin. I've never before had a quilt spark a piece of music in my head!

Never had that either. But that song is very nice. We played that with the band. By the way Gershwin is one of my favorite composers, besides Katchaturian and Smetana.

Good Morning Ladies! Ah, Michele, that is one special pattern. I can see it would be great therapy! I have plenty of UFO's if you need some more exercise!

We had some storms overnight, not super duper bad but enough to knock the power off for a twinkle. In fact, it was a strong enough bump to make everything need to be reset. Guess who is gonna be late for work this morning? Poor Luscious Larry. He hit the floor running, frantically calling my name. Of course, I jumped up, not even knowing if it was morning or the middle of the night, since it was still dark thirty. What an adrenaline rush, hehehe

If the rain stops, I will do some more transplanting. The past few weeks, Sis and I have been taking turns from one house to the other cleaning out the beds, weeding, etc. Sure wish we had taken some before and after pics at her house. I may today. We have made a sweet little sitting spot in the back and it is like a nature trail.

          Enjoy your day, ladies!

Lovely quilt. I like how the center parts have been pieced in a random wonky fashion. the pattern is very similar to my guilds block of the month this month. Except the center part is made from a 9 patch. your colors are great.
