Finished this afternoon for Project Linus. I made my own charms out of scraps. That was fun but I wouldn't want to do it all the time. Thank goodness for MSQC.
Nice job! I really want to try a tumbler but have been too chicken. So, was it difficult or why wouldn't you want to do it all the time? Did you cut the shapes using a store-bought template? Any piecing advice? I love yours and how great is that you made it From scraps!

If your making from your stash you don't have to cut charms first. Just cut 5'' strips. Then the templet get's flipped. If you don't have a directional print you can do more than one layer at a time

I used the template from MSQC. It was easy to put together. I didn't use enough different fabrics, so I struggled with the layout. I kept finding two identical fabrics next to each other. I had to do some ripping, but finally got there. I would suggest using, at least, 10 different fabrics.
